Option C Question

Hi I was wondering about the Option C for spousal sponsorship. If your taxes from the current year aren't completed yet, can you send your notice of assessment from the year before and then send your current one when it is completed as long as you leave a note for the people at immigration about it?

I'm no expert but according to my "immigration" lawyer the answer is yes. For me an Option C from 2007 is good !

Just know that the Option C is different than your notice of Assessment. You need to call CRA and request an Option C printout - from the last taxation year! Good luck!
