Option C printout

It clearly says that the sponsor doesn not need the Option C printout if he is sponsoring his spouse with or without a dependant who does not have her/his own dependants.
But on the form IMM5481 (Sponsorship Evaluation) it asks for the net personal income for the 12-month period preceding the date of our aplication.

So it means we do have to get the Option C printout in the end?
But again.. the 12-month period preceding the date of our application??? How is that possible?
Do we put approximate $$?

The option C is needed to show that tje sponsor hasn't been on welfare. Its primary purpose is not for income. Also, u need to state a reason that u don't have an option C. I don't think it is acceptable just because u are only sponsoring a spouse. For example, if u have been living and working abroad and therefore werent a resident in Canada, that would be an acceptable reason.

The form wants u to list an approximate income for the past 12 months. The option C is to prove no welfare has been taken. It can show income as well but it is thr welfare that cic needs to see.
