Hi - new to the crowd, really glad I stumbled across this forum and hoping someone can help me out here...

I am sponsoring my husband; I am a Canadian citizen living in the U.S. and plan to move once he gets approved.

My question is that I have lived outside of Canada for four years and haven't filed taxes there since I left. So how am I supposed to get a Option C Printout? Do I need it in my case?

Thanks!

Just explain your situation and show them proof of your income in the last 12 month ( pay stubs, bank statement, etc. ) Explain how you will support your spouse when you both move to Canada ( Jobsearch, possible work opportunity etc.)

I didn't submit an Option C either. Haven't filed taxes since 1998. I included a detailed explanation along with a notarized tax assessment from China. Make sure to include a good explanation and any documents to support it.

They will not deny you because you didn't submit the Option C. You're fine.
