I read on here that the Notice of Assessment has now replaced the Option C printout for the Sponsor Income section of the CL application.

Is this true? The Feb 2016 Checklist doesn't mention it in the PROOF OF INCOME FOR SPONSOR section, but it does still mention it in common delays section at the bottom.

COMMON ERRORS WHICH DELAY PROCESSING

1. Application to Sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking form (IMM 1344) is not signed by the sponsor, and the sponsored
spouse or common-law partner.
2. A computer printout of the most recent notice of Assessment (Option C printout) and computer printouts of all income slips (e.g., T4, T4E, T5,T5007) available from the Canada Revenue Agency are not attached.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello,

I just read the updated checklist and it doesn't say Option C anymore. So just give them the Notice of Assessment and income slips for the latest tax year.

Good luck.

i would still submit Option C printout, and I did. Notice of Assessment doesn't entail the details that Option C does. Plus, Option C is mentioned to be submitted in one of the application forms. I don't remember which one though.

That was updated in February. They changed it from requiring the Option C to requiring the Notice of Assessment. I think they will still accept the Option C, because of what you mentioned, anyways.
