Hi All,

Need your thoughts again,,

Is Option C Print-Out also the Notice of Assessment?.. my husband got his 2008 assessment and I was looking for the words "OPTION C PRINT-OUT" on the form but it doesn't say.

We just got a letter today from CPC-M saying that they got our application and that it is for proessing. Along with it they returned the original copy of my husband's notice of assessment. Is it suppossed to be that way?

Thanks again!

The Option C and the notice of assessment are different. You have to order the Option C, it is not sent automatically.

Thanks again PMM! (as always!)

Have one concern though.. CPC-M has already transferred our application in the Philippines for processing. So does it mean the visa section in the Philippines will have to inform us that the Option C is still needed eventhough CPC-M already mentioned in their letter that my husband is qualified to sponsor? (OH MY GOD! I can see the delay now!) I will have to nag my husband about this bec he didn't want to listen to me! I told him this is being requested from the revenue agency!

Is there an initial screening made by CPC-M re documents submitted? Or will this be done by the visa office processing the application? (I'm just hoping we can get away with it) :)

Thanks again!

There is an initial screening from CPC-M but as income isn't a requirement for just sponsoring your spouse it's not a huge importance to the package. I'm sure they have other ways to check if you received welfare. If you want, once you receive the Option C Printout from them you can forward it to Philippines for processing with the File number received from the philippines. A lot of people don't even include them as they are living abroad etc .. A sufficient explanation of your monthly income or situation is fine.
