Hi everybody,

Can I send my original Notice of Assessment? or do I really need to request a printed Option C Notice of Assessment from Tax Revenue?
I got confused as in my case I was asked to submit my Notice of Assessment.
Thanks.

Hi,

I called the CIC to inquire about Option C and NOA. I was told to asked the Canada Revenue if they're thesame coz if not the CIC's asking for Option C print out. Following this, I phoned the Canada Revenue and the lady said that the Option C has more detailed breakdown of earnings compared to NOA.

I was also asked for the same Option C, and yes it comes from Revenue Canada not Immigration. You will have to go to your local office and fill out a request form for it, and they'll make you a printout. Not sure what your option is if you aren't in a city that has a Rev.Canada office. You could call their info. number and ask what to do in that case. It's pretty easy to request it and get from them.

Thanks LCS,
I have requested the Option C already. I was just a bit disappointed when the lady told me that it will take 5-10 days to reach by post. It's on its way now. Hopefull, I could get it next week.

Hi, Sorry but i just need to clarify is it ok if i send the notice of assessment, or would they reject it?. I requested an option c printout, but i have been waiting for 2 weeks now and i still didnt get it.

Everything for me is waiting on that, can i send the NOA? I was barely in Canada most of last year so i barely have any income anyways..

Please anyone let me know......

Thanks in Advance

I wonder why urs is taking so long. maybe they didn't do it. ask for it again.. it is just a printout...

Hello,

(CRA) Notice of Assessment and CRA T4 Statement of Remuneration Paid):

Hi,

Done submitting the scanned copies of my 2013 CRA Notice of Assessment and T4 Statement of Renumeration Paid as a proof of my current employment in Canada.
Once the documents received by the CPC-O,
What's next?
Any idea? Approved or denied?

Thank you

they asked for option- c print out and not NOAs, chances are they will return the application to you bcd it is incomplete

Agreed. The document checklist requires you to send an Option C, so if you send anything other than that...your application could be returned.

Some people have been lucky, while others have not, so it seems to depend on the person that opens your application.

How is that? Just submit the option c print out a while ago.
After this, what's next?
I really appreciate your reply, thanks for the info buddy ;)

I called the CRA I asked about it they said they can send it out through regular mail. It was actually pretty easy to get it compared to other things you just have to keep calling until you get through! I called 1-800-959-8281 took 3 tries to get through! Much easier than trying to get a person on the CIC 1-800 number!
