@erwin exploratory visit is mainly for you to explore job opportunities, schools, housing and lifestyle in the province. If are successful at the interview by MPNP official then u will be given an invite letter to apply to MPNP 4 PR nomination. U re suppose to go back after an exploratory visit to apply for your PNP then if u're eventually nominated u can get a work permit to work in manitoba not during ur EV that could affect ur application. MPNP processing is generally less than 18months depends on d VO. U can visit www.immigratemanitoba.com to read more go to faq section. Some pple get job offer during EV yet they stil have to back to their home country to apply for PR.

It's either home country or country of residence :)

hey,
thanks

One of my friend who applied for EV in Morden received an e mail two days ago telling him that his application for EV was approved. He is a nurse here in the Philippines. He sent his application first week of March. Morden is already assessing applications for EV. HTH.

I have no knowledge to whom he sent his application via e-mail. As far as i know he sent his application after reading this forum. He was not interviewed either prior to receiving the approval.

That seems like all nurses approved a application quick to Morden
Any idea about financial, banking, accountant are they going to dismiss the assessment

Congratulation by the way who approved a application

Regards,

Is there any secret to your fast timeline? My wife forwarded her application last feb.20, miss voth acknowledged receipt after a few days stating that we were scheduled for assessment on May. My wife is also a nurse BTW.

congratulations NURSE.KIT, that was pretty fast.I want to advice that u should not waste time in planning your visit.

Tseve, let us be patient and hopeful, i pray people like us in that line will be considered too.It is like nurses are being given priority now.

Best of luck to everyone.

This is good news for us and assuarance that Morden Initiative is working and real. And let all note that when Nursekit sent her application Ms Voth was less overwhelm with applications and secondly she already said they have priority for certain occupations. Be patient our time will surely come. What we should do now is research morden, jobs, mail companies that u re coming on EV soon, gather docs 4 ur TRV application. Just know Morden and Manitoba in general. For those that might not be successful with morden am in contact with another town in manitoba as soon as i get positive feedback i will the house knows.
Happy Easter
Cheers
