friends!!! if you have a look at the information below you'll see that all the successful applicants are from white people countries. Not a single one is selected yet from india, pakistan etc for morden immigration. i dont think we're going to hear anything back from them ever...

Here are a few facts about the families that have chosen Morden to be their new home.
•37 approved families represent 102 people.
•The average age of the principal applicant is 32.6.
•Average family size is 2.8.
•19 families from Ukraine
•10 families from Russia
•6 families from Kazakhstan
•1 family from Portugal
•1 family from Hong Kong
•These families are expected to be arriving from June to November 2013

I recently read that Ms. Shelly Voth took over as Co-ordinator only on Jan 14, 2013 and that too as part time. We need to give her time to get to speed. She got into this forum in the last week of Jan 2013 ( within 2 weeks of taking over this assignment). I too read the demography of the would be new immigrants that you posted here. That is a 2012 news. Asians got to know of Morden only after Ms. Voth started this thread here.

One of the reasons for the slow pace is that the review committee members are not full time paid members to approve applicants on a daily basis. It is possible that they have a review meeting once or twice a month only. Please see below:

"Applicants are screened by the Morden Immigration Review Committee. This committee consists of volunteer members from Employment Manitoba, Education, Health Care and an immigrant to Morden. This committee is in touch with employer’s and community needs and works conscientiously to choose the right applicants. Six of Morden’s applicants have been given job offers by employers they have met with, either in person during an exploratory visit or by Skype interview."

If I understand correctly, the review committee might do a matching of demand of skills by local employers with that of application profile. This might mean that an applicant who applied in early May 2013 might get lucky compared to a April or even a earlier applicant if the May 2013 applicant profile matches the current needs of the local employers.

Let us wait patiently and I am sure very soon we will see this thread coming alive with lots of pleasant news of invitations from the City of Morden.

I am also total agreed with morden2013. Thanx morden2013 for sharing the correct information. I am also going to apply my application with in a week. and i hope i will get response soon. We should have positive approach to think if we want to immigrate.

you may be right about what u'r saying but as per the acknowledge email either we'r going to get some news this week or never. And as you can see there are couple of people in this forum received quite a different response and thats because of their origin. As we're of different colours, we always going to get an automated email stating similar things. It would be better for us to concentrate on study visa. At least people are getting something there!!
