Open Work Permit

Hi guys.

So basically what happened is I applied for PR and OWP. I wanna think my PR app is all good, and the only problem is gonna come with the OWP.

I forgot to attach Checklist and the photocopy of the supporting documents (which I sent with my PR app tho).

I called about that at IRCC and they adviced me to re-sent my OWP app and attach an explanation letter saying that I already applied for OWP, but I believe it's gonna be returned.

So my wife is saying now that we put proof of payment from the first OWP we payed, but if that's cancelled and that money is refund.

Is that true? How should I proceed from here? Will they return my app again?

I was able to link my app today, should I try to upload the missing documents again, now that my app is in the system?

They won’t automatically refund you. You have to request it.
So attach the original receipt and it’s fine.

I linked my Permanent Residence application, the missing documents are for the Open Work Permit. Now that I'm in the system, should I try to send the missing documents, or my OWP is already on its way back?

It's hard to say. Quite likely, but stranger things have happened.
