My girlfriend and I are currently in Toronto since March 17. We both have our study permits. She just finished her language course and will attend George Brown college in January. I am attending Lambton College which is 2 years co-op program.
We decided to get married. So we will marry in 2 weeks.
Here is my question; When we get married, since I am actively an international student, can we apply open work permit for her? Our purpose is getting PR. Does applying for an open work permit may affect our PR application in future?
