open work permit

I have applied for open work permit visa .My spouse is sponsoring me, as he have applied for Permanent Residence in Canada and it is under process. The officials in VFS told me the actual process will be about 20 working days, but its now almost 60 days . And till now i have not yet received my passport. kindly help me with information.

If I understand correctly, your spouse has applied for PR in Canada and you have applied for an open work permit based on your partner's PR application. If that's correct, then you need to post this question in the section of the forum that relates to how your spouse has applied for PR (i.e. Canadian Experience Class, Provincial Nomination). This section of the forum is for Canadians who are sponsoring their family members.
