Open Work Permit

I am a professional currently residing in the UK. I am thinking of applying for Open Work Permit to Canada. I went through the assessment questionaires. The result showed that I can apply for open work permit. The confusing bit is that the list of documents required showed letter from intending employer. But in the questionaire, I answered that I have not got any job in Canada. So, if I want to apply, how do I deal with the issue of letter from employer bit. Many thanks

Why do you think you would qualify for an open work permit?

Open work permits are only given out in special circumstances, for example:

1) for the spouse of a person who is in Canada as an international student

2) for the spouse of a person who is in Canada as a temporary foreign worker working a skilled position

3) for certain people who have applied for PR and have fulfilled certain requirements in the application process, such as live in caregivers and spouses being sponsored inland

4) refugees after a certain first stage approval

5) for international students after graduation (Post grad work permit)

6) for people on work permits who have applied for PR and gained first stage approval (Bridging open work permit)
