Open work permit with a 5-month-old baby

Hi all,

I am applying an OWP on IRCC. I will come with my wife and a 5-month-old baby.

I wonder if I need to include my baby as a family member with my OWP? I typed the information of my baby but the IRCC stated that my baby does not need a visa.. So how can she enter Canada with me??

How are you eligible for OWP? Your baby needs a visitor visa or eTA unless you are US citizens.

What visa does your wife have?

The new pathway for Hong Kong residents. My wife will also apply for the OWP.
So should my baby enter Canada via eTA? if yes then will there be a time limit for staying in Canada?

If eTA is what you need then yes. Does your baby have a passport? The time limit is tied to your permit.
