Open Work Permit while waiting for PR

Hi,
Can anyone help me?
I have a problem that bothers me ever since my wife and I applied for my PR and that is I did not attached the file for the OWP to the PR file.

Is it possible to apply now? Or should I wait for CIC to open the PR file and after that apply for the OWP? I know that will add some time to my waiting...

You have no choice, but to wait until you have AIP. Once you have been notified by CIC that you have that, you can then submit the OWP.
