Hi everyone! I applied my open work permit with my spouse sponsorship, so that I could work full-time while waiting for my PR decision. However, I stupidly ticked NO on "If you are married or in a common-law relationship, is your spouse or common-law a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident?". I was clicking tab to move on the next questions and accidentally choose that one. In my additional information section, however, including a passport of my spouse. Will my application get refused because of that or if it affect my PR? If so, any idea on how to change it? I am stress about this.

You DID submit the OWP AFTER you received your AOR for your spousal sponsorship application, right?

No telling what, if anything, will happen regarding the spousal sponsorship application, but the OWP will likely be refused...unless IRCC figures it out that it was an error on your part. You could try calling them, but it's very difficult to reach a human...and even then you may not get an accurate answer. Worth a try though!

I actually submitted the SOWP with the Spouse Sponsorship application together, my spouse told me that it was fine to do it like that, we applied it last week, and only today that I found out the error on the form actually.

I'd recommend raise an IRCC web form tell them about this asap. Hope that can help.
