Hi,
Quick question,
I'm currently on an Open Work Permit from Working Holidays, set to expire in the middle of September this year. Now I have an employer who has me on permanently (undisclosed end time). However, I won't have been working there for one year until the end of August. This leaves me very little time to apply for PR!
Which makes me wonder if it's worth it or beneficial to apply for a new closed work permit for my current employer, which would theoretically give me more time to apply for PR? Or should I just hustle and apply for bridging my work permit when the time comes?
(and does all my work experience have to be in the same permit to count as continuous?)
Let me know if there's any other info you might need to help.
Thanks so so much! Take care and good luck everyone!
(I tried searching for answers to this but I don't know how to not get results for 'closed to open work permit' type questions)
