Open work permit: SIN expired

Hi everyone,

I applied for open work permit under the TR to PR scheme as my work permit was to be expired 27th Nov. However, given that I am on implied status and my SIN has expired also.. Will that cause any issue in terms of work getting my salary regular and will it flag CRA?

You can work with an expired SIN on implied status. Just renew your SIN as soon as you get your new permit and you should have no problems.

I was in the same situation before I became PR and confirmed at a Service Canada location that this is ok.
