Open Work Permit question (with spousal PR applicaton)

All,

I applied inland and included with my PR application, an application for OWP. I received PR AOR email and linked my account and subsequently uploaded the requested documents. I can check how my PR application is being updated but I have yet to receive at OWP application updates.

Are you supposed to link the OWP application separately to the CIC account to get updates?

i'm not sure about linking the OWP permit, so i'd recommend asking in the inland 2016 thread.

as for notifications, i don't believe IRCC gives any notifications about the OWP. People know they have been approved for it because they receive it in the mail. if you don't receive it after 4 months, then you can call the call centre and they may be able to tell you status.

This is for a visitor extension, NOT an OWP.

IMM5710 is the correct form for the OWP.
