Open work permit problem

Hello, I am a refugee in Canada, I had an open work permit which has expired. I mistakenly filed the wrong form and have gotten myself a study permit rather than an open work permit. To rectify it I have tried filling imm5710e to restore my status and get an open work permit but it keeps asking to chose either a past or new employer to file the permit with but open work permit doesn’t require a employer. I don’t understand what to do, please help

Since your OWP has expired, you need to apply for Restoration of Status.
