open work permit pilot program

hello

after the 1st stage of inland sponsorship, i believe we are allow to apply for the open work permit (pilot program) meanwhile waiting for the second stage to be process. Can I apply online? or is it paper only? which form do i use? how long does it take to process?

Hi

You are not required to wait for first stage approval to apply for an OWP under the pilot program, provided you have valid status in Canada.

what if i am out of status duringthe processing. i have my first stage completed. can i apply for open work permit with an out of status while Wait ing for second stage.thanks
