Open Work Permit Job Offer Required

Hi all, I received my OWP today and in order to enter Canada (I'm in Hong Kong), I will need a valid job offer as this is a new requirement since COVID. I'd like to ask if this job offer needs to be under LMIA? OR it can be a document that I can show upon landing in Canada with company endorsement?

Hi, for border purposes the job offer doesn't need to be under LMIA, just the regular job offer letter you'd get from the company once confirmed.

Thanks so much for the information. I believe I can then proceed to book my flight ticket and prepare. So all I'll need to do is present the job offer letter during immigration along with POE letter then?

Does anyone know how long after the application do you receive the biometrics/medical request? It’s been over a month since my application and I’ve heard nothing back.
