Open work permit issue

Hello,

I received my work permit and then sent my passport for visa stamping. When I received my passport, I got study visa in return. I have to urgently travel India, so I wanted to ask if I can travel with what I have? I raised a web form 3 weeks ago and didn't get any reply yet, I even called IRCC and they told me it was a mistake from there end, and they also mentioned that I can travel with without any issues. Please advise what are your thoughts?

Can they give that in written even if it is an email? Ask them. Then at least you'll have something to show at the border. It is my belief that the border officer will have an unshakable faith in the infallibility of the IRCC. The burden will be on you to prove the fact.

Hi,
I received my open work permit copy last year October 2020 when I was in Canada but due to some family emergency came to India.
Can I do the Visa stamping for open work permit from India ? please let me know the process ?
Please assist , if anyone has any idea about this ?

Note : when I received the open work permit copy I didn't receive passport submission request.
