I had filed my open work permit application last year on 1april 2021 biometrics was updated on 8april 2021 from UAE I am still waiting for my application to be approved … my application went under reviewing eligibility check in January 2022 ….
how long can it take to get approved ?

So how are you eligible for an open work permit? Do you mean you applied with a LMIA/job offer for a closed work permit? That is the only way you are eligible.

So you applied for a closed work permt, not open. Send a webform and talk to your company lawyer/HR on next steps. Not much you can do except wait.
