Im holding PR in Canada and planning bring my wife with TRP (Temporary Resident Permit). We both not yet decided to apply for PR in Canada. And I knw that we can apply both PR and open work permit at a time, the open work permit will issued after first stage of approval of PR application(ie., after 6-7 months).
Here my ? is: I dont want to apply PR right now as its taking long time and Cant go outside Canada while application is in progress, even for vacation or leisure trips and we dont have long time plan to stay in Canada. So I wanted to apply open work permit with no PR application just like what the temporary residents are doing for their spouse.
CAN APPLY OPEN WORK PERMIT (alone) FOR MY WIFE IN CANADA WITH NO PR (sponsorship) APPLICATION.
