Hi! I would like to find some information on how does spouses of international student could obtain an open work permit. This inquiry is for my cousin who just got his Student Permit but did not include his wife on his application for study permit but he did added her as his wife. She is from Philippines but is now working in Dubai. So our questions are:

1. Could she apply ONLINE?
2. Would it be easier for her to apply in Philippines or in Dubai?
3. Does she need proof of funds for her application?
4. Would anyone help us by sending us a link on how to get started?

Thank you so much for the help!

1. YES!

2: Not sure - matter of personal preference i guess?

3: Same rules apply - she will need to show proof of funds

Hi guys,

i just would like to ask if the SPOUSE of the INTL Student will be coming from the PHILIPPINES, does he still need to go through the process of PDOS, OWWA and OEC?

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I need guidance. I am Masters degree holder of Accounting and Finance from Pakistan and have applied for DEP professional diploma in Accounting from Herzing college Montreal. I hope I will get approval letter from that college. I want to know whether my student visa will be accepted or not? What do you think?

Another question 'Can I help my husband to apply for open work permit along with my study permit application to CIC and under which category I should apply for my kids? My kids are under 6 years old'

Hi friend. My suggestion is let her work for 11 more months and apply for PR. Which is very good for you and your kid. Because u don't have job offer. And spouse open work permit applications from india are hatching eggs. Applicants applied in the month of jan. Feb nd evn june are behind high commissions. Case specification enquiry. Immigration lawyers door. And TRV has very rare case of approvals. So take some experts suggestions.. all the very best and spply soon because the processing of TRV and SOWP is realy much slow then usually normal processing times
