Open work permit for spouse

Hello guys,
My wife had applied for a one year program in Humber college ontario. We are anticipating admissions anytime soon for September 2018 intake.

I would like your advice one something. After we receive the admission letter should we apply for study permit and spouse open work permit together, Coz we r planning to come to Canada together.

It would be great if some of you share your experience with this process.

pretty much depends on you. you can apply together. you have to make a good case to the VO.

Do you mean we need to prove the VO that we would return to our home country?

yes. and also why you want to go with her when the program is for an academic year. (remember 1 academic year is technically only 8 months)

The idea is to move there and find job and settle there. and my wife is also interested in studying there hence studies for her and I would like to get a job and gain some Canadian experience.
