I have a problem. I am student in Canada and my study is done. My study permit expires on 31st July. My husband is also here and his work permit expires on 31st July. I have a problem with his work permit. I am going to apply my work permit Tomm. What should I do? Can I go to border to get my permit. Or should I apply my husband's work permit with me under same file.

Hi, what is the process and documents you submitted?

I just applied online with my visa, uni acceptance letter and his documents. I am not sure we would get the visa because OWP is not guaranteed for spouses of international students.

Hey finally got my passport request today. My friend said that they took about two weeks before he got back his passport. How long did yours take?

Yay!!! Super congrats! it took about 7-10days. I haven't as yet due to me using my family at home (here) as a reason to return. But we can talk about that privately.

I'm no expert here, but I would recommend that you apply first and after it's approved, then your spouse will be eligible.
