Hello,

I just applied today for the Open Work Permit under the new rule that would give us with PGWO an extension 18 months. However after finishing the application, I noticed I applied 1 month too early. They said to apply 4 months before the expiration of my PGWO, which expires on July 1, 2021.
Will this negatively affect my application? Will it be rejected or simply pushed until I’m eligible? I’m worried.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Hey guys,
My work permit is going to expire in April and I’m stuck here in india. I’m waiting for my TRV so I can get into Canada. My question is Can I apply for 18 months extension while I’m in india or I have to be in Canada for that?

I meet the 1 requirements as I PGWP and going to expire in April but I’m visiting my family here in India so I’m confused about second requirement.
