Applied also 21 january pretoria visa processing station and nothing up to now, work permit
Hello everyone,
My husband is on student visa and I am applying for SOWP, I need your precious advice on following matters.
1. I worked for 1.4 years but now I am unemployed since April 2018. How should I explain this in the Letter of explanation
2. How should I show home ties as I do not have any property.
3. The funds I will show in my account, how should I justify it and how old it should be?
It would mean the world to me if you people can help me out. Thank you very much

Good evening dear. Are you an Inland applicant or Outland? Also, your work permit is it under AIPP?
I also applied for work permit through AIPP on 4th of February, 2019 with an upfront medical. medical passed but don't know the exact date it was passed since then till this moment my app has been under Background processing. Am an Outland applicant.
Did you get your OWP? Which comes first your Medical Request or OWP?
In my case I did not receive an AOR, first email they sent me was the Medical Request.
I applied PR and Open WP Jan 25,2019 my husband received an AOR in March 14th and My first email to receive from them was a Medical Request.
Inland process i think are getting faster you should be getting an email anytime soon
I applied in January 25, recent update was Medical Request last March 20. I did nkt get AOR but my husband got. Confirming his sponsorship to me.
No updates if im getting my OWP. I finished my medical last thursday doc hasnt sent it yet through IRCC.
How long did it take for passport submission request after medical? My medical was done 2 weeks ago still no update Getting anxious
No, but it still I side the 83 days of processing time. So I believe around first week of April I should receive something hopefully

I have applied for SOWP visa not through AIPP(Outland applicant).After medical update it will take one week or 10 days once application has been finalized then your status will be changed.
Thanks for your response. In my own case is more than 10 days and counting since my medical was passed. This should be like 3 weeks my medical passed and has been on processing Background. I taught since is AIPP, it should be given the uttermost urgency as stated in our endorsement letter because this document expires after six months.
No, still waiting, and very worried, bevause my visitor visa will expire in 2 weeks. And if gets dennied after that, I will have to leave the country or apply for restoration+work permit (450 dollars again)
