[/b][/b]please help me out.

Me (applicant) and my Spouse (Permanent Resident, Sponsor) already submitted a Spouse Sponsorship inland application last October 2014 for my PR which includes all the necessary documents (forms,police certificates, receipt of payment and medical exam report). Recently, CIC released a new policy about their pilot program regarding the application for an Open Work permit while the PR application is on process or before the approval in principle decision is made . I am a bit confused about this, i want to apply for an Open work permit so I can work here in Ontario. My situation is a bit complicated.

- i am a work permit (employer specific) holder valid until July 2015, however, i quit my job in Calgary to live with my partner here in Toronto since February 2014. Is my work permit still be considered as valid proof of Valid Temporary Resident Status? Since the new policy require me to have a Valid Temporary Resident Status which in my case as "Worker".

-Officers will issue open work permits to SCLPC applicants if they meet the following requirements:
1.) a PR application has been submitted under the SCLPC class;
2.) a Canadian citizen or permanent resident spouse has submitted a sponsorship application on their behalf;
3.) the SCLPC applicant resides at the same address as the sponsor; and
4.) the SCLPC applicant has valid temporary resident status (as a visitor, student or worker).

i've met the conditon 1,3 and 4 (considering my work permit is still valid) but for condition 2, should it be that my spouse is the one who submitted the sponsorship application last October 2014? I'm the one who send the application, does that mean I didn't met the condition 2?

- and lastly, they need a Stardard Medical requirement, should i undergo another medical exam again?

please help me and thanks for lending me your time..

Although you have quit your job, your work permit still gives you valid status (which doesn't seem fair, but apparently it is). If your former employer were to contact CIC and report that you are no longer there, that may change.

For condition 2, your spouse has met that condition.

Unless the requirements are different in Ontario, a medical exam (for the OWP) is only needed if you plan to work with children or in health care.
