OOPNP - Received PT - Missing Mandatory Documents

Hello All,

I've received PT interest from Ontario province last Saturday, to apply they are looking for birth certificate and Employment letters.

1). I was born in 1988 in india and i don't have a birth certificate, Applying now will take minimum of 3 months . So what are all other documents which can be supported to prove my date of birth other than birth certificate

2). None of the current employer will give a letter about my roles and responsibilities , i can only get the proof of employment, salary certificate and joining letter etc. will that be enough ?

3). what happen if i did not apply with in 45 days, will i get PT interest again or is it an one time ?

Need your help on solving these doubts guys, kindly share your knowledge

Make an affidavit.
A forum member (Jkal) on another thread has provided this format :

STATUTORY DECLARATION

IN THE MATTER OF - Birth Certificate

INDIA
STATE OF .....
CITY OF ......

I, ......................., DO SOLEMNLY DECLARE THAT:

1. I live at ....................... .. My Date of Birth is: - .........................
2. I do not have ANY BIRTH CERTIFICATE. I am a citizen of INDIA and at the time of my birth, it was not mandatory to get birth certificates . Hence I cannot produce any for the purpose of the application for Permanent Residence in Canada.

AND I, .........., the deponent make this Solemn Declaration conscientiously believing it to be true and knowing that it is of the same force and effect as if made under oath and by virtue of the Law of India and understand that it is an offence under the Criminal Code to knowingly swear a false affidavit.

Declared before me at the City of ....... in the State of ........... This (Day) (Month) (Year)




(Name, Signature, Seal of the Notary) (Name and Signature of the Applicant)

Someone has also successfully submitted Grade 10 Certificate. IMO, affidavit is a better option.

Write a letter of explanation along with these documents stating your problem and the solution you are offering.
If your company head / HR department is refusing to provide you the documents, try getting them from your immediate supervisor (if applicable)
Getting reference letter from your colleagues might also help.

Not sure if anyone has tried this. This year they are accepting only 2700 applications and people receiving AOR this week have file numbers in 1950s.
I suggest submit your application as soon as possible.

I have just called Ontario Immigration regarding the confusion. I have told them that I have covered 1560 hours in 10 months. Will I get a nomination confirmation or not since I have not got experience of one year in the past five years? They told me it depends , there is a possibility that you can get it but there is a chance that the profile get rejected. If it gets rejected, I would not get a nomination or even if you withdraw the profile and re apply there is no guarantee that I will get a nomination again, but If I do not apply they will not send me nomination ever. Shall I apply and take the risk or shall I withdraw the profile and re apply in January.

State of Mind - Very confused.

It depends - do you have CAD 1500 to spare?
Also, in my experience, the lady on the phone is not very informed about certain criteria.

I recieved PT Notification of Interest from Ontario few days back....i am having some difficulties with filling Nominee Form and also have some doubts pertaining Proof of Funds:
1. Nominee form asks for Expiration Date of Current Citizenship and Immigration Canada Document....what should i fill here as i have never been to Canada before? Moreover if a leave this cell blank...system doesnt let me move to next cell in the form...i cant even write N/A in this cell as it asks for numeric information.
Same is the case with a column which asks for Education Details of Spouse. Since i am single i dont have any info to fill here but the system asks me to compulsarily fill To and From date in this PART E of the form. Plzz help
2. I have around 6120 CAD worth of Fds in the Salary Account in which my salary used to get credited till december last year when i was working. I have left tmy job and i am currently not working. So to meet the funds requirement i am going to get money transferred from my Father's account in my account. Would that be okay with the immigration authorities? I hope they wont raise objection with these fund's credit in my account.
OINP has asked for 6 months bank statement....can i show the funds taken from father as part of average balance of 6 months in my account
Additionally am i supposed to provide Balance Certificate of my Account and Fds to OINP?

See my inputs below:

1. Fill it out manually meaning download the form then write your answers on it using a pen. Put N/A for fields you don't need to answer. Click print out form on the PDF file to generate the entire form for printing.

2. I think that should work, but you need a letter from your father stating that it is a gift from your father to you. Yes provide balance certificate and account statements 6 months back indicating the credit of your father's gift to you.

This is what it is supposed to look like and you should be able to move forward:

But just in case you're not able to, T365 is right.. you can print a blank form and fill it in with a pen.

T365 is right again. You will need a letter signed by your father stating that the amount is a gift and not a loan so he doesn't expect it back. If possible, get a notarized affidavit.

One more doubt pertaining to the POF .....Am i supposed to show the entire amount as an Account Balance only or would the amount kept as FDs would be aggregated by the authorities to verify whether i meet LICO level or not?
I am asking this because if they just check account balance then i'll have to redeem my FDs back into my account to show funds as an account balance.Plz guide......

An aggregate of FDs and bank balance is acceptable. Just mention that to satisfy the POF requirement, you're showing the FDs along with the bank statements in a letter of explanation if you're getting the jitters.

Can you some one help me to clear what is called true copies of educational certificates ? is it just photocopies or photocopies which are attested by
the institutions ?
