Who is the bank draft of $1500 payable to? "Ontario minister of finance" or "minister of finance, Ontario" ??
Stated 2 different ways in the guide and the actual application.

Guys, I sent the draft addressed to "Minister of Finance, Ontario" instead of "Ontario Minister of Finance". The actual OOPNP application form says "Minister of Finance, Ontario" whereas the guide says "Ontario Minister of Finance".

Will this be a problem?

thats confusing.. yeah.. you should be able to use both then..
But the guide says "All fees must be made payable to the Ontario Minister of Finance. Payments must be made in Canadian dollars only. No other currency will be accepted. "

So go ahead with what guide says..

In India, when you take a DD, you need to provide "in favor of" and "payable at", the beneficiary name and location. But, in OINP application guide, they have only mentioned the beneficiary name, not the payable city or province. I would like to know whether I should go for Toronto or Ontario?

@ppahuja, Thank you very much for your reply. I went to the bank and the address or the payable at was not a mandatory field for the draft, so I took a draft in favour of "Ontario minister of finance". But, the draft shows a bank name (Toronto Dominion) in Toronto,Ontario, the tie up of HDFC bank for CAD transactions may be.
