Hello Guys,

Is there any spreadsheet for OINP guys who have already been nominated and have submitted their application in Jan/ Feb'16.

If there is, kindly share the link please.

Only CEC applicants from Dec/Jan have been nominated. FSW applicants have not been nominated yet. Few October and most of November applicants are still waiting (for 160 - 180 + days) for nomination. Check Nov/Dec/Jan?Feb groups -

But I have already been nominated in Dec'15, CIC invitation on Jan'16 and have submitted AOR on 04/02/16.
I just wanted to know if BG check of OINP guys who have already submitted their AOR have seen any progress in their file status ?
Any spreadsheet for the same will be highly helpful.

Oh okay! I was of the impression that you are still waiting for nomination! I am not aware of any such spreadsheet - I guess you can search the forum!

Yes, my AOR date is 04/02/16.
But I think PNP guys ain't getting PPR as of now. As per my info it's lil bit late as compared to FSW guys.
That's why I wanted to know till which date AOR, the BG check has initiated.
I hope someone will give me info regarding that. :'(

There is no such segregation. Its purely based on when your file is processed. Some say SINP PNP candidates are processed faster and that did seem to be true but not a rule.

You are actually quite close to your 6 month mark and hopefully things would move for you within the coming week.

I suggest you to order GCMS notes. Notes will give you an idea as to what is happening with your application!

Hi guys,

Whilst my PR is in the process, I applied for a Canadian Visitor Visa yesterday.

I assessed the PR process (at least for my applicastion) and thought it might a long time before I receive PPR.

I need to travel to Canada in August as I would be sitting for a professional course; part of the preparation in case I get the PR.

My question; Would it cause a problem? i.e. having the Visa application whilst the PR is being processed?

I can only give you a guess on what I think they may check. I guess they check your background in terms of criminality, foreign trips (for PCC requirement), work experience perhaps.

My guess is as good as yours. But the way I see it, the checks are probably the same as those done for employment verification (for a new job).

From my experience, the employment verification (for a new job) is fairly exhaustive and does take 3 months even though the candidate may join later. There have been grounds of dismissal for fabricating information (fake work ex, criminal case, etc.) even after an employee joins. In fact one of my friend's was a partner in a very small online company as a director and was asked to resign prior to joining as this was flagged during background verification.

My application stats are almost similar, kindly update whenever your BG status will change.
As per my info PNP files are taking more time and FSW guys are getting it faster than PNP folks.
Also, if ordering GCMS is of any importance as my 6 months time span is yet to be completed after submition of my application.

I guess you could go ahead and order (even mine was within 6 months). It helps you know your application flow and moreover an idea of where it is right now. All the best!

So long as your reference letter mentions job duties that match with 2174 its good to go. If you order your GCMS you will know once your R11.2 is passed which contains details on the reference letters and NOC matching duties listed.
