After getting ITA, we need to apply online and upload documents. Could anybody tell me the maximum size of one pdf file that we can upload?

Hello everyone,

I have a very urgent question to ask regarding police certificate. I have asked US FBI to issue a certificate. Can anyone tell me if it is also required to ask state police where I used to live to issue a certificate as well?

Thank you!

Not having used their services, I'm not completely sure and someone can correct me here.

According to their site, you can send mails to opportunities.ontario@ontario.ca or send hard copies to Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP), 400 University Avenue, Ground Floor, Toronto, ON M7A 2R9

I got an Ontario PN though OOPNP and during my application process I renewed my passport, I just emailed them a full scan in pdf format to the email address you stated and it was accepted, they never asked for hard copies, if they wanted they would probably ask for it, rather they replied that it was sufficient and that my file was updated.

Regards,

I need to take an important decision based on these timelines.

My current state is,
Background check "not started"
Final decision "not started"

Seniors please guide.

Thanks

Well as far as i know there is no fixed timeline ....the applications are being processed in a weird manner ..and there have not been much applications as to make a decision or even a prediction of the timeline.

As far as i know if you stayed in US for more than 6 month then you need to submit certificate from FBI....that's what i did ... others may provide their input....thanks

Thanks! That is what I am doing. But I heard that state issued police certificate is also needed?

BTW, how long does it take for you to get the certificate? If it is later than 60 days, should a letter of explanation be OK for CIC?

Thank you! :)

FBI processing time is 13 weeks ...and they takes that much ....i have applied before applying so when i filled post ITA i had the certificate with me ... i waited for few days to give me some time before accepting the ITA... if you have time then i would suggest to wait otherwise proof that you applied for PCC and a LOE (explaining th situation) should be ok

Guys can anyone please tell me how long they give you to submit the passport after passport request and how long it takes to get it back from them. This is important for me since I will be traveling while I get my PPR and I would want it back with me in that country rather than at my mailing address
