Questions about filling the application for OINP

Dear friends,
Can anyone help me with filling out the application form so that I don't mess up and get rejected))

1. Shall I fill in all fields with N/As for questions that are not applicable? (for example, spouse education in canada - shall I write n/a in "from","to","name of school", etc?). And also for questions that are not applicable but do not have fields only tickmark boxes, should I leave empty or what?

2. Address: what is delivery mode and rural route No?

3. Occupation & Education: my current occupation is "Digital Marketing Specialist", but this exact naming doesn't appear in the NOC list. Should I write just marketing specialist or write the name of my position the way it really is?

4.Intention to reside in ON: what ties do you list if you ain't got any. And will it harm my application if I write n/a?

5.Family member relationship to you: Should I write just CHILD or DAUGHTER?

DOCUMENTS LIST

A few more question about supporting documents.

1.What is considered a "certified true copy"? Will a regular photocopy do?

2. If I've got Master's Degree (with ECA by WES), should I send only the copy of my master's or bachelor's as well? And what about transcripts?

3. Do you need to send only a bank statement saying you have this much money on this account? Or do you need to send a 6-month debit/credit statement as well?

4. There is no information about sending copes of passports and birth certificates for family members (husband, daughter). Shouldn't I include those?

THANKS A BUNCH in advance!

Whatever degrees are not certified by WES need not be added here. Only mention degrees that you have a WES evaluation for but you must disclose your diploma in the "Personal History" section if it was gained in the past 10 years or after your 18th B'day (Whichever is more recent).
Many thanks! Have just done what you described.

Yes, write "N/A" to fields that are not applicable to you. Yes, leave those boxes empty.

2. Address: what is delivery mode and rural route No?

Never heard of this. Could you please elaborate?

3. Occupation & Education: my current occupation is "Digital Marketing Specialist", but this exact naming doesn't appear in the NOC list. Should I write just marketing specialist or write the name of my position the way it really is?

Mention your designation AS IS. The designation does not really matter, what matters is the roles and responsibilities. So as long as your Roles match to that of the NOC you selected, you are good to go!!

4.Intention to reside in ON: what ties do you list if you ain't got any. And will it harm my application if I write n/a?

Write "NONE". In the intent letter, write about why you want to settle in Ontario and describe your genuine intent to settle down there.

5.Family member relationship to you: Should I write just CHILD or DAUGHTER?

Your choice. Doesn't matter.

DOCUMENTS LIST

A few more question about supporting documents.

1.What is considered a "certified true copy"? Will a regular photocopy do?

People have got nomination by submitting a regular photocopy of the degree certificate and the ECA report (I am telling this because certified true copies is asked only for education docs)

2. If I've got Master's Degree (with ECA by WES), should I send only the copy of my master's or bachelor's as well? And what about transcripts?

Only masters degree certificate+ ECA report will suffice since that is what is mentioned in your ECA.

3. Do you need to send only a bank statement saying you have this much money on this account? Or do you need to send a 6-month debit/credit statement as well?

Get a letter from the bank that mentions your name, date of opening and current balance (+Canadian equivalent if possible). Along with this, you must get statements for the past 6 months stamped by the bank.

4. There is no information about sending copes of passports and birth certificates for family members (husband, daughter). Shouldn't I include those?

Actually, there is information regarding that. Find it below (highlighted in GREEN :

Please provide a copy of your entire passport:
The passport copy must include clear copies of each page including all blank pages, Temporary Resident Visas, entry stamps, and/or any other immigration stamps
You must also include copies of Work Permits, Study Permits, and/or any other Canadian immigration documents;
Your passport must have been valid for at least two years prior to submission of your nominee application. If your passport has not been valid for at least two years (i.e., the previous passport expired less than two years before the submission of the nominee application), then copies of all of the pages of your previous passport must also be included;
AND
Your passport should be valid for at least two more years. If you are unable to renew your passport prior to applying to the program, you must apply with your current passport with an explanation of why your passport could not be renewed at the time of the application.

Provide a copy of each dependent’s passport page showing his/her photo and personal information, if applicable.

This can be found in the application guide, page number 16.

One more thing, the money that should be in the account - I'm in the UK and this money is in a UK bank account. Do I need to open a Canadian dollar account and put the $11,900+ in there or can I just print a statement showing my UK balance? What's the recommended approach?

Thanks in anticipation!

Its CAD 11,931 for single applicant. You can show the funds in your UK account.

Thank you very much rajkamalmohanram for quick and insightful response. No wonder why you're a Champion member! :)

As for the address question,
in the application you need to select city or rural and then you have the following fields
- street no, street name, street type, unit/apt, delivery mode, rural route no - all of these are marked with asterisk.

I'm not sure what a delivery mode and rural route No mean.

Well, I never saw "delivery mode, rural route no " in my application, so I have no clue. May be you can try writing N/A there too (because if you don't know what that is, most probably it doesn't apply to you).

Just to make sure, I've downloaded the "Nominee Application for Ontario Express Entry Streams". Is it the right one?

Street Direction
Unit/Suite/Apt
City/Town*
Province/State
Postal Code/Zip*

I got the ontario PT on October 23 rd. It says it will be valid for 45 days. Is it 45 days or 45 working days. Approximately when it will expire?

Thanks in advance.

45 calendar days. Your application package must reach them ON OR BEFORE December the 7th, 2015 otherwise your PT will expire.

Hi Seniors,

There is mismatch of one alphabet in my fathers name i.e my middle name in my university certificates and the passport...
Both the spellings are actually ok, as the actual name is in our local language and the additional or missing alphabet does not make much difference..

Will this mismatch of one alphabet in my middle name could lead to some issue?

What is the action I can take here?

Will a letter of explanation help?

I suggest you write the names EXACTLY as on the passport. If you have to change, I guess you can raise a CSE and correct it at the earliest. May be other senior members can provide an opinion on this too!!!
