Hey everyone, had another question as I've reached the uploading stage...I need multiple police certificates from different countries and I have almost all of them except for Kuwait (I don't live there anymore). They say I need an official letter for the police certificates for Kuwait, so how do I get one? Apparently I have to upload all the police certificates in one PDF but I'm (also?) supposed to upload a letter asking CIC for the official letter for a specific country...? How will this work? Any help/information appreciated.

For Kuwait, CIC will ask you to procure one when needed AFTER you submit the post ITA application. You don't need to submit it upfront.

Thanks! However, there's no submit button on the uploading documents page yet? Is it generated after I upload some documents? Haven't uploaded any yet because I wanted to make sure I'm doing it right...and just so I've understood the instructions on that page: I upload no police certificates at all unless asked or I do upload the ones I already have and wait for them to tell me about the Kuwaiti ones? Thanks again.

Another question, if I need to show proof of a legal name change, would uploading the previous name on a passport and then the new name on a passport suffice? it's an addition to the name not a total change for information purposes. They're both legal documents and reflect a name change so I assume it would be alright with a letter of explanation but would they need an affidavit on top of that or something?

guys i have a question regarding landing in canada... i know its too quick to ask as i have not submitted my PR application yet but....

i have plans to do landing in canada by july next year and stay there for a week or two and come back to saudi back to work .....

any how do i need to carry funds with me to show i have sufficient funds? (and declare at the customs as its a family of two so the amount would be 15000 cad)

or can i show them a bank statment showing i have funds with me in my home country (same bank account which i am showing for my PR application) will this be accepted or they need the funds to be braught to canda?

do the immigration officers really check the funds?

Hello Guys, is it true that OINP won't be reviewing any application in December and January? I read that somewhere here in this forum. Also, does it mean that If I submit my EE profile, I won't be receiving a PT from Ontario on those months or it means that applications that are sent on those months won't be under review until February?

Start submitting the documents, once you're done with all of those you'll be able to move to the payment screen. About PCCs, upload the ones you have and wait for them to tell you about the Kuwaiti one.

This isn't a change of name document. These are 2 different documents with different names on them. A change of name documents is an independent legal document that highlights the individual's name from X to Y. In the absence of such a document, you would require a notarized affidavit in the form of a self-declaration that it is the same individual with different versions of their name.

I see, I had assumed that from the exact fathers name/date of birth/other biodata on both it would be kinda self explanatory even with a letter of explanation but if a notarized affidavit is what needs to be made, then they shall have their notarized affidavit in the form of a self declaration (which is notarized of course) =)

Yes, I believe if you have already put forth your application and it is pending their review and approval. I believe they would not be doing it those 2 months and resume back work in February.

Please note that Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program does not process applications during the months of January and December and that time accumulated during this period is not included in the processing time calculation for applications.

1. I see that there is no form to fill out and print, prior to the checkup appointment. Is that right? So then I just have to take my passport, previous medical history documents and eye prescription with me?

2. What exactly do I have to upload in mycic for medical? Will the panel physician give me a document after the checkup? Or will I have to wait for the results and go back on another day to collect this document for upload?

3. Will the panel physician also be uploading something to our mycic accounts or sending anything to cic independently?

Yes. Take a copy of the ITA letter as well.

They will give you an information sheet which you will upload in the designated placeholder. The clinic isn't expected to provide you with the results, they are expected to send them out to CIC directly.

Directly to CIC.
