Hello,

OOPNP says that all translations must be notarized.
I would like to understand what does "notarized" mean.

I have a called a few notaries in my country, and they all say that they do not certify that the translations are accurate.
All they can do is certify that the signature of the translator is legitimate. Will this suffice?

Thank you very much in advance.

This is what a notarized translation mean. Notaries only certify the translator's signature based on documents provided by a translator. The responsibility for accuracy of work performed lies on a translator only.
