OOPNP no PT... connect here

We have reasons to believe PT's are decided based on few factors, and one of them is NOC code. They are not randomly issuing PT's to everyone as stated in the forum. I think they are carefully scrutinizing the labor demand / Supply in Ontario and taking the call. I can't see anyone with NOC 2173 / 2174 being invited with no prior Canadian experience.rkurtur said:

There you go.. you confirmed my suspicion. Noc's 2173/2174 seems to be left out for some reason. Perhaps, they already have amply supply of Software Engineers (IT professionals). Just guessing.
Btw, I hear 2173 is regulated in Ontario. Do you hold any license?

Our list just expanded..Appears no PT has been issued for noc's 2172, 2173 and 2174 (doesn't matter if you have Canadian experience or not)... A trend is starting to emerge, unless someone proves us wrong..kakhileshreddy said:

One thing I did today, I don't know it is just a coincidence or not, was review all my application. I have selected "All provinces" option instead of selecting Ontario and some other options. After all parts were shown "updated" I've pressed "continue" and re-signed the electronic declaration.
This update may have triggered something on the system, who knows... But it's free and you don't go to the end of the queue as on the case you withdraw and re-create your profile.

NOC 0111, 1st profile withdrawn and 2nd profile created on 5th June, 2nd profile withdrawn and 3rd profile created on 8th June. 431 points, 6 years work experience, IELTS overall score 8, ie greater than CLB 9 and yet no PT...although I know another forumite with same NOC and lower points got PT...don't know what I'm doing wrong...

For anyone still waiting, I spoke to them this afternoon and they said that the requirements on the website (400+pts, funds, etc) are the only requirements. It is not taking anything else into account (age, etc). The whole process is computer-driven so if you match the requirements, you will get an invite. You just need to be patient as their system goes through the EE profiles every day. I'm guessing from the fact it took 3 days for mine to get picked though, it's not going through ALL of them every day and there's a little bit of randomness about it?
I'm also in the same boat, even if I indicated ties in Ontario.
