I'm sorry but the attestation number is what was required in the first place , now they added a second field called PIN Language Test !

It is being asked by CIC. Following yesterday's update, there are two fields now. One of them is the "Attestation number" and a new field for the PIN number. Earlier applications were not required to fill this additional info.

Could it be the candidate number?

Yeah, it's new since today, after the two days of down time/maintenance :). Another new thing added is the "research" section in work history.

You can click on the Question mark button for Help, where you insert the "Language Test Taken".
For TEF:
There are 2 parts in the Attestation number.
Language test result form or certificate number: I added the first series of numbers
Language test PIN: the 2nd series of numbers.

I quote the info in Help:
"For IRCC to verify your Language Test Results, you must enter:
  • TEF: Attestation no - This number is composed of two sets of digits separated by a hyphen. It is located at the bottom of the first page of the test. Please provide all the digits without the hyphen.
How to input numbers in the 'Language Test Result Form or Certificate Number' field
  • IELTS: Enter the Test Report Form Number only.
  • CELPIP: Enter the Registration number.
  • TEF: Enter the first 'Attestation number' without the hyphen.
How to input numbers in the 'PIN' field:
  • TEF- On the Attestation no. line, enter in the 7 digits that appears after the hyphen
  • CELPIP- Enter the 6 digit PIN number"

Thanks a lot for your reply however there are still some inconsistencies:

1) TEF- On the Attestation no. line, enter in the 7 digits that appears after the hyphen (i have 8 digits not 7 !)
2) look at the first and second part of the message you copied :

*)Please provide all the digits without the hyphen. VS *) Enter the first 'Attestation number' without the hyphen.

It's pretty easy. Yes, you have to enter all the numbers. 1st numbers in the 'Language Test Result Form or Certificate Number' field, 2nd numbers in the 'Language Test Result Form or Certificate Number' field.

Just follow CIC's instructions... That's all you need to do. It's pretty straight forward. First number/Second number. The end.

Both first and second parts have 8 digits for me.

Mine has 8 digits in both sets. If the system accepts more than 7 digits, why not enter all the 8 digits after the hyphen?

yeaah thx guys , same here , but weird thing , my degree data and ECA was erased , had to fill it up.
another thing , on my CIC application page : I don't have the Unique Client Identifier (UCI) seems weird cos it's missing :( ( it exists in other previous applications )
OINP status : Decision in progress :)

PS : weird that Score jump for us French stream lol

Hello
May I have one question. My profile satisfied all criteria of Ontario French stream. After 4 months waiting, I still do not receive any notification. I already deleted the old EE and created the new one. But still no answer. Do you have any advice for my case?
Tks a lot.
