Hello Guys,

In the process on filling my eAPR, I have all my travel history that is in my old passport. The current one is brand new and empty.

is it necessary to upload my old passeport and old visas ? if yes, should I upload it with the LOE or with my new passport under "passport/travel document section" ?

Thanks
Old Passports are irrelevant, just new passport only.

So I went through the next phase and today i managed to send out my PR application and I got my E-APR already. Here are my advices about possible issues:
1. Medical
They might ask for your health history from your general physician. Best is to ask about that and if they will require it, get some summary in advance. Also check in advance your weight and height.
They will do following:
- take your blood sample (AIDS and syphilis)
- take your urine sample (so good to drink water) (not sure what exactly, maybe some severe diseases)
- x-ray of chest (tuberculosis)
- vision test (if there is something severe).
Be aware, that for vision test they also have to use drops that will widen your pupil for like 2 to 3 hours (so I do not recommend to drive after that)
You shall get a copy of E-medical sheet with your UMI stated on it. Hold to that one (the assistant almost took that away from me and I had to ask for my copy).

2. Application
Similar excercise to the PNP application. First you fill in stuff then you add supportive documents.
It does not hurt to add all pages of your current passport (even if they do not need the blank ones). I made them like 4 pages per 1 Letter page, so that way the whole PDF was not too big.
Anywhere where you feel that an immigration officer would have questions, write in LOE. Also put Schedule 4 form and scan of your paper PNP in the LOE. (they will most likely to ask for that later anyway). And if you use representative, add Schedule 4 (if I am not mistaken).

3. Submitting application.
Once you have already nicely filled in everything better log out of your account and then freshly log in and proceed to the submitting part. Why, because everything is slow to do in the account and they are kicking you always out after like 10 to 15 mins (regardless if you are idle or not). It will take like good 10 clicks until you will get to the moment where you can actually use your credit card so you do not want to be logout just one step before and do the login again.
If ever it happens to you what happens to me - the account will freeze just after successful payment, you can either wait an hour or so and if there is still problem fill in helpdesk ticket.
And also do not forget to make screenprint or PDF of the page where it sais that the payment was accepted (your evidence if ever you got stuck).

Best luck to everybody to their nominations and further steps

Thanks vensak for the tips. I am just waiting for fresh PCC(in about 2 weeks) and my meds are booked for the 26 Jan. I will be submitting my eAPR just after my medical tests ( for me and my family). Good luck for the rest of the process!

Thank you vensak for the nice guide.

As for me got most of the papers but awaiting translations which sucks since Greeks take a long leave because of holidays until after the 6th.

I still have some bank statements from oversees as well, as my company pays my salary in 2 places. You never imagine how these small things affect you after this long time of working.

Thanks Vensak, +1 for you.

I am just waiting for the next draw, but i have already set an appointement for the 6th to do the upfront medical exam. And almost all the other documents are ready.

Good Luck !

Hi Eden

Schedule 4 is for all PNP candidates. Even if it is not required during filling your eAPR, it is better to upload it as part of your LOE.

You can find it here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/imm0008_4e.pdf

Is the PNP nomination letter required to upload? CIC doesn't ask for it and I still haven't received it. I'm about to submit PR application without it.

Julien,

Yes your provincial nommination is one of the things you need to include into your application. Below is a list of things you will need to attach copies to your application:

your valid passport
your language test results
your valid written job offer from an employer in Canada, if you have one
your provincial nomination, if you have one
in some cases, proof that you have enough money to support yourself (and your family members in Canada, if any are coming with you)
any other documents on the Document Checklist, and
your Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) report, if you included the results in your Express Entry profile.

All the best with your application.

I just called Ontario to check if they have sent the nomination certification. She told me they mailed it on 12/29. She also added that if we apply electronically through the EE portal, the hard copy is not needed, it is only needed if you did the paper application to get points as Ontario sends the nomination electronically to CIC. I guess that's why I haven't seen anyone receiving an ADR for the nomination certification and there's no placeholder to upload it.
Can someone confirm what she said?

Hi everybody,
After i sent an email and called ontario immigration service, i have the following mail:

Veuillez noter que le dossier référencé ci-dessous, est à la seconde étape du processus de traitement, en attente d’être examiné par un Enquêteur/Analyste.

Un officier vous contactera si nous avions besoin de plus d’information

What does it mean? What is the first step? How many steps are left?

Hi

I , too, have received the nomination certificate by courier. I thought an e-mail and pdf format will be sent, hence was quite suprised to receive a paper document !

All the best friends for the e-APR and your Canada project
