I too have been asked to authorise release of ECA report. It seems we're all making some progress!

same here "decision in progress" yesterday : 44 days submitted and 57 days Assessment :(
but no ECA request , since we applied (in my case on the 6th of Feb) before the april 28 guide update , they should not ask for a ECA copy/access ( mine is WES ) , in their guide of the initial e-system , we were asked to provide a copy of the ECA report. ( they never asked for an extra copy from WES , neither an acces from CES or MCC ) ,
anyhow , good luck , hope they don't ask me for a copy, cos it's gonna be a crazy time loss ( WES sending paper based mail )

let me guess Rover1 , you sent your files in french !
My application was also stuck in "Submitted" status for ages. I was thinking they were processing those applications that were close to/above the CRS cut-off in priority as they would certainly get direct ITA. My CRS is quite low.

"Assessment" stage was quite fast - two days short of 3 weeks. I did not give second thought to the ECA access request and just complied on the same day. I am also with WES. Took only two days for OINP to get the ECA access and change my application status to "Decision in progress".

By the way, my files were submitted in English.

Good luck to you too.

Great! Have you already submitted the ECA? And has your application status progressed?

Good luck to you.

I've asked CES to submit the report. My status changed to, and is still in "awaiting documents" as I have to also submit pay slips.

OK. Get it done ASAP and lets hope we make it for the next draw (wishful thinking).

Sure. CES just informed me that they've sent the report. Hopefully things will speed up this time.

Good luck everyone:)

Hello, did you submit the Letter of Intent to reside in Ontario with your submission? I didn't, and now Ontario requested for it. Do you have any format/ example to share? Thank you. Also they asked me to provide duplicate of WES report.

You at least you have the tax income doc and I think you can give it to them explaining why paystubs are not available. I HAVE NONE OF THESE:(
However I wonder whether I can ask my employer to produce them. Would they be acceptable? Obviously they would not show the correct issue dates.
Seniors please help here!!!!

For me there were two additional requirements: ECA and confirmation of number of hours worked. Just stating full-time was not sufficient. I provided a letter from my employer confirming number of hours per week. OINP has not asked for further evidence till now.

As for evidence concerning work history, I submitted employer reference, 7 months paystubs, emoluments for one year(income tax statement) and bank statement for seven months showing the monthly salary being credited. They have not asked for further evidence on this item.

I believe they need at least two sources of information to confirm any of the requirements. e.g bank statement (from bank) and official payslip/reference letter (from employer) to confirm work history.

I believe that in your case you can submit a letter from your company on official letter head detailing the last x months of salary and if the amounts match the entries in your bank statement it could be sufficient evidence (information from two sources that match). You will probaly also need a letter of explanation to explain why paystubs are not available and evidence is being provided through an official letter. I'm not an expert - just my opinion. May be the seniors can enlighten us.

You could also try calling OINP and talk to someone to confirm if a letter would be acceptable.

All the best...

I only filled in the appropriate part on the form concerning intent to reside in Ontario. I have no previous ties to Ontario. But I showed them that I had started applying for a jobs in Ontario and had contacted a professional body in Ontario wrt my profession. No further evidence has been asked till now.

I remember someone posting a sample letter of intent somewhere on this forum. Try to seek some information from the net about why you want to reside in Ontario (e.g. availability of jobs in your field, education for your kids, milder climate compared to other provinces, local communities that you can relate to, friends/relatives in Ontario, etc.) and explain how they genuinely meet what you are looking for and how you can contribute to the local community.

Good luck!

Have you received your additional 600 points? From what I understand, it can take a few days for it to appear on your express entry application after OINP nomination. Then you need to wait for the next draw (probably around end May). Then again it will take a couple of days for your to receive the ITA.

This is not the case Rover; Nomination should be received within 24 hours and also ITA is received within 24 hours (1 day) on the day a draw has taken place.

RoyBa, did you receive your 600 points yet? If not, email the issue to OINP immediately.

After you receive the 600 points or if already received, you should receive ITA in the next draw. Verify on the first page of my cic after you logged in that your profile has been submitted (as I had the issue about updates no submitted). If it has been written submitted, then no need to worry. Just wait for the next draw and you will receive ITA within 24 hours.

By that time, you would already receive the recent PCC from France.

Dear Elrud, Rover1,

Thank you for sharing your experience. Yes, 600 pts were added on the next day after I accepted the nomination...so I will wait for the next draw then :)
