Hi everyone,
No everything is very slow on the PR front, but I had a surprise. I am eligible for a working holiday visa, so a 24 months open work visa. Do you think I should accept it? I was thinking I would get PPR about July, and move this summer to Ontario. Do I need to take this visa? And if I do, should I inform CIC?
Thanks for your advice
You can try that, also I think that you will get that PPR this summer (unless there is anything for additional BG checks or securities).

Thanks for youranswer Vensak
I have no worries about BG check, but I am thinking to be on the safe side in case CIC has delay, I wil then be authorized to work. I gave notice to my current job for the end of July, so I will have to find something.
When are you planning to land?

Sofiane5225, where are you? I am one week behind you for Ontario NOI and ITA, so I was watching your timing. Any news?

Technically in Toronto, but I will move to the city called London (in Ontario) at the same day. Then I will try to find work over there.

Courage !

Interesting facts:
1. there are only 2% of French speakers (those that have French as their first language) in EE (for example 1000 from 50000 EE accounts)
2. from all ITA 4% were the French speakers

The additional requirement for this stream is English and University degree on the top. (not to mention, that French must be set up as a first language). So no wonder there is just so small amount of potential candidates.

With that said, Ontario is cherry picking almost all bilinguals from the whole EE stream.
Bonne chance a tous.

Cheers!

Thank you for the info Vensak. Could you please help me understand the terms VO and VLO and how these offices are assigned to applicants? I've read people's posts using the terms for different meanings.
Thanks

LVO - local visa Office.
This one is assigned at certain point of your application. (once they finish medical, criminal and A11.2 checks).
Once these checks are done, they will create that LVO within your application as a secondary visa Office and then they will swap it to primary visa Office and the CIO will become secondary visa Office. That is the transfer of your file to your LVO.
LVO then receives your finished security checks and they will do the final analysis R87. That one will summarize your potential to become economicaly active in Canada and well establish yourself.
LVO is assigned according to your current country of residence. (however sometimes they assign you elswhere if that LVO is way too busy).

Thanks a lot! Guess what! I had to search CIC website to know what A11.2 and R87 checks are :) . Ok so the LVO is the one that organise visa interviews etc!

A11.2 - check if the points you claimed in your EE are consistent against the evidence that you have forwarded (ECA, language tests, PNP, Work reference letters...) and also if you meet the criteria of at least one group (FSW, FST or CEC).

R87 - if they see you a good candidate to establish yourself once in Canada.

LVO does the inteviews if needed (but they are very rare when it comes to EE applications).

Vensak,

I don't understand where you see all that?
