OOPNP confirmation from Ontario Immigration via Email

This is the confirmation from Ontario Immigration regarding OOPNP

1. CEC and FSW both need to show settlement funds.
2. Applicants with Canadian Diploma do not need to certify their degree and neither send the transcripts. If you have ECA for a foreign degree you only have to send the copy of ECA.
3. They also asked to send only COPIES of Ielts and ECA. I know they ask for original on the application. ( it is up to individuals)
If they need originals they will ask later ( this cannot be a reason for rejection of PNP
4. It is not mandatory to have yearly income written on job letter, " OOPNP ONLY WANTS TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE" exact words from the email.


I got the PT on last Monday but the only things that kicks me out of OOPNP is the settlement funds. 4.5 years in Ontario and still have to show them settlement funds. RIDICULOUS

1. Should the copies of IELTS, ECA be certified ?
2. Should the bank statements be certified ? Should the statements show funds in CAD. Mine are in USD
3. For degrees outside Canada, do we still need to send Certified copy of degree ? It is one of the mandatory requirements in the checklist.

Not sure about first two questions but for foreign degree they only asked me for ECA copy as WES has already checked the Certified copy of degree during ECA process.

Try calling Ontario Immigration and tell your situation they will guide you the best

They stated under education requirement

What I understand is that they are not saying anything about diploma

Do you have any degree from foreign country?
If yes then get ECA done for that

They will make sure that they don't give 2700 PNPs so easily which is frustrating

Has to be Bachelor and/or above

So they just want bank balance? Pay stubs, employment letter and bank statements are useless if you dont have required funds???

True if you don't have Settlement Funds then everything else is waste
Basically kicks us out before applying

I am still unsure though. It makes more sense to show settlement funds when you are not working in Canada. This should be a hard requirement for FSW only, but not CEC.

But the agent on phone said because you are applying under Human Capital Priority it is a requirement

I have a 2 yr PG Diploma from Ontario but I haven't received my evaluation for my B Tec from India. am I eligible for OOPNP??

Please advice guyzz..
