Yeah i've been reading more into and it looks like you are correct. I think you can get a bridging visa but only after you receive the approval (certificate with certificate number).
As my visa is due to expire on July 14th I'm not sure if I should apply for an extension (knowing I wont get it) so i'm on implied status with the hope that I get the OOPNP approved in the mean time. At that point when they get back to me to say my extension wont be granted will I be able to apply again. Can you apply for a bridging visa on implied status??
