I also got letter of interest, but do not have enough funds, is it okay if I sell my car and gold now and put the money in the bank with proof of sale documents? Can I attach my brother's bank statement also?
Yes it is okay if you sell your car and gold. You just have to show the proof of sale.
But, you can not show you'r brother's bank statement. But you can get money as a gift from him and include a gift deed document while showing proof of funds.
All amount in proof of funds should belong to you.

I also got NOI today. My CRS is 406 and NOC 7231. I have all documents in place just arranging funds now.
I also received NOI yesterday. I think this specific batch of NOIs was issued to people with skilled trade with NOCs starting with 72, 73 or 82. However, when you go to the specific link for this stream https://www.ontario.ca/page/ontarios-express-entry-skilled-trades-stream , you notice that their requirements include one year work experience in Ontario, legal status in Canada, applying from Canada and license to practice in this specific skill/ trade.

Can senior member give insight if my assessment is correct? I don't want to arrange documents etc and then apply and realize I'm not eligible in the first place.

Do you have Canadian work experience? You can apply to the human capital priority stream. It requires bachelor's degree or more than. In my case I am confused I don't have Canadian work experience and I have two or more certificates not bachelor's degree. Why are they sending NOI when they know we are not eligible

Yes, I have Canadian Work Experience, but it was more than 10 years ago so it does not add points to my EE. I do not have any ties to Ontario either.

I am not sure whether to apply or not with a score of only 343, which will be even lower next February 9th. I got the following response from Ontario:

"Your CRS score does not need to be 400. Please review our website for the relevant criteria."

It is not about skilled trades. You can apply under HCP Stream.
Do you have any source for this? All of us invited on 24 Jan have skilled trade NOCs starting with 63,72,73,82 . It's quite apparent that they want us to apply under skilled trade substream but we're not eligible for that without legal status in Canada and work experience
