I got a NOI today :)
CRS: 465
0213

I've been sitting with 470 points since Oct 2020, therefore my points were too high for a NOI (top cut off being 467 this whole year).

I lost 5 points on 23 Oct 2021 due to my birthday which put me in the range for a NOI.

I never thought I would be so happy to lose points to age... :)

Steps to Follow after receiving NOI from Ontario:

1. You would need to create your login ID at Ontario e-Portal : https://www.ontarioimmigration.gov.on.ca/oinp_index/resources/app/guest/index.html#!/

2. Fill the application form, it takes 3 hours to complete it. (NO need to fill it at one go, you can save it and come back to continue).

3. Upload all your supporting documents as requested (follow instructions).

4. Pay $1500 fees and Submit your application.

Processing time : 60 to 90 days for final nomination approval.

I got a NOI for PNP today from Ontario. But I'm in Vancouver. My score is 455. Is it too low for CEC? How should I approach this. I do not want to go to Ontario :(

Tech draw: Issuance of notifications of interest by targeted occupations under Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities stream
On October 27, 2021, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) issued targeted notifications of interest to candidates who may qualify for Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities (HCP) stream.

You may apply to the HCP stream if you:

  • received a notification of interest on October 27, 2021
  • can demonstrate that your work experience was in one of the eligible National Occupational Classification (NOC) codes listed below
If you received a notification of interest, you don’t need to contact the program.

You may be required to submit an Educational Credential Assessment to demonstrate that you have the equivalent of a Canadian Bachelor's degree or higher. Make sure that you provide a copy of your Educational Credential Assessment report and that you authorize the assessment organization to share the results of your Educational Credential Assessment with the OINP. The OINP targeted candidates with a comprehensive ranking system score between 455 and 467 and work experience in the following NOC codes:

  • 0213 Computer and information systems managers
  • 2147 Computer engineers
  • 2172 Database analysts and data administrators
  • 2173 Software engineers and designers
  • 2174 Computer programmer and interactive media developers
  • 2175 Web designers and developers
Your application may be refused if you don’t demonstrate work experience in one of the eligible NOC codes.

Dears,

I had created my EE profile as spouse not accompanying and received an NOI from OINP on 27/10. Now I'm thinking of taking my wife and kid along, can I change my profile to add them, if so how? Also will this affect my OINP NOI which I have already received?

Is there any other place along the process till COPR, where we can switch from non-accompanying spouse to spouse accompanying? TIA

Hey,

Yes, spouse can be added into the application any time. Even during or after your OINP application.

You can also add a spouse after the nomination, before/after ITA or AOR.

Whenever you add the spouse your CRS will always be recalculated and having additional 600 pts won't be bothersome to you. Hope this helps.
