I got this message from PassportSP today. Exactly 14 days after police verification.

I went for my PCC appointment today and just booked my medical for July 20. They said there will be additional tests for tattoos. I’ve two tattoos on my body. What additional tests will they need? And can that be a problem in medicals?

Noo I did not get the letter.. I got an update from the police station that its been done the next day itself.

Hey are you planning to contact the commissioners office? I asked the RPO office and they are still saying report is pending from commissioners office and the office usually updates in 2-3 days. But it’s like 5 days now already.

No problem, they just check for infections like hepatitis C in the tattooed part … that’s what i read online.
Did you go for PCC to the PSK ? Your address on Passport is same as your current address?

I spoke with them they only asked for
1) Passport copy
2) ITA letter
3) Vaccination certificate (optional)

Just have to carry the passport along with a photocopy of the same .

Nope.. since Canada is opening borders now, they’ve resumed upfront medicals. I was asked to carry my passport and ITA copy. Nothing else.

I read somewhere online that they might not even ask you for tattoos if they are not visible.. mine are visible so I’m not sure if that’ll be a problem..

Yepp.. went to PSK for PCC .. they said next steps will be when someone from nearest police station will either call me or visit my home for verification. Pretty much like getting a passport. Once they clear it, it’ll take 1week to get my PCC.

I called Max Delhi just now and the next available appointment is on 19th July. They are saying appointments are booked for 29 June - 19 July. So if anyone wants to book appointment in Delhi please do it today. Slots are filling fast.
