Hello Guys,
Can someone pls confirm- do we have 60 days or 90 days to submit our application after ITA ? May be someone who received their ITA is in a better position to clarify on this.

Below 2 articles on canada.ca give different periods -

60 days as per :- https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...residence/express-entry/invitation-apply.html
90 days as per :- https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...-permanent-residence/police-certificates.html
our experience with oinp, I'll suggest you submit all documents as soon as humanly possible.
Those who submitted their oinp application very early have all gotten their nominations

He/she is asking about ITA, not OINP.

I accepted it on EE profile, it then updated my score there itself. I then got another email immediately after accepting that there is a new message in my EE Profile. That message allowed me to download the nomination acceptance letter.

I just received an email from Ontario with the nomination letter attached which has all the details on my PNP profile.

@mrsamcan : Were you able to update you EE profile after accepting the nomination? Precisely the question where it asks do you have a nomination certificate? I couldn't edit that question specifically in my profile. Hope that won't be any problem.
Thanks :)

when you accept ITA it shows validity. It is showing 90 for people who accepted it recently

True that, try for June AOR or July AOR, but make it right :-)

The Ontario nomination is shown right on the profile and 600 points added. That should be good for us.

The question is for non EE linked PNP like paper based or other non-linked PNP out there.

are there any cases, where an applicant with PNP approval declined an ITA, then was nominated in the very next ITA? or do they nominate after some time once the ITA has been declined?

I think you will go back to pool. Remember, OINP Nomination certificate has validity and e-apr must be submitted within that. Also from EE standpoint, if no plans to submit within 90 days then, It is important to decline ITA, else, EE profile gets deactivated and new profile need to be created.

Whatever the case, as they are giving 90 days, there is no strong reason to decline an ITA. Most of the docs are already arranged and few needs to re-arranged.

Hey man, thanks for answering the question. If you remember my other post I asked about funds not being maintained due to a valid reason for relocating and setting up a home, and a job switch. I will have to wait to get at least two salaries. So, after the approval from Ontario (Insha Allah) around 20th-30th June, as my application went to DIP on 21st May, I can accept the nomination right away then I will have 90 days from there to manage all the things or I can wait for some time to accept the nomination? This will give me some time to manage all the things.
However, I am worried that, OINP itself ended up taking 3 months when I submitted the application just 2 days ago due to funds issue and especially my IELTS scenario, if I do the same i.e. submit my ITA application after 2 months, it will delay the process to what timeline, only HE knows. :/

Plus, I read many people while waiting for approval are booking appointments for Police Clearance Certificate.
What else I can gather right now to keep the documents ready?

Financial documents
  • 6 months bank statement can only be issued once I will reach the mark again.
  • Other than the bank statement what else IRCC require?
Educational documents
I already have everything ready regarding this for OINP.
  • Like, Bachelors's degree verified from ICES.
Character documents
  • Police Clearance Certificate - PCC
  • Medical? This needs to be done once we are in the middle of the IRCC process right?
Kindly advice.

Hi Guys, I submitted my profile on 24th March & on 8th May it changed to Assessment and is still the same. Should I wait further or try contacting OINP?

A word will help my anxiety :)
