Question to all. Can someone who has been nominated, thus have +600 points decline ITA,so what will happen next? He will be returned to the pool with this +600 and waiting for another round? As I understand, it's possible? Also, do you know that everyone who had corps after 18.03.20 cannot travel to Canada? So, what's the rush? Don't you think that it's a bit strange to pay thousands of dollars when actually no one can immigrate for sure? For almost 2 years?
If someone has plans to migrate to Canada, they should never decline an ITA. There are many who have done that and are regretting because IRCC changed their plans. Yes, Canada is not issuing any Copr, because of the border restrictions. Howerver, that does not mean they will take another two years for new applications as well. The newer CEC draw candidates are receiving COPR even within 3-4 months. The rush depends on the current situation in home country. Many want to migrate early, start working, start living, start family planning etc. You have to pay dollars anyway now or later :) Immigration is always long term plan. Covid is adding more delays to it.

Interesting point of view, however it's obvious that cec are inland, so they issue corp for them faster. But the point of my question is still the same. It's written at the official site that IF smn cannot i.e apply within 60 days, he can decline and still be eligible for the next round of invitation. It may be for some personal reasons why a person cannot apply in June, but can in August, for example. So i was asking if someone have heard of such cases?

Canada would be opening up by Sep partially though. Most people would be vaccinated so they might open borders with restrictions

I am still waiting in Assessment stage from April 27 and I am really worried now.

Don't worry, that's completely normal, check always if there any additional documents required and if not then your status should change either tomorrow night or the next few days.

Outland

Mine has been in DIP since April 28th. Wondering if they are issuing nominations for those overseas.
Don't worry, if you check myimmitracker.com a lot of people got nomination today, and there is no specific order. You'll get it soon. Best of luck
