Ontario Tech Draw: 16-Feb-2021

I received my nomination from Ontario yesterday evening and my 600 additional points got added too. However, I haven't yet received the ITA. I read somewhere that it can take up to 24 hours to receive the ITA. Has it happened with anyone here? I'm also worried because I updated the amount under settlement funds just an hour before the draw was declared. Is it possible that I was temporarily out of the pool because of this update?

I completed my Upfront medicals today at Sadhu Vaswani Mission, Medical Centre.

The whole process took ~2.5 hours and costed me Rs 5,350. (I don't have any tattoos). Billing is done after you consult the doctor.

The process was split into 5 stages:

1. Profile creation on eMedical portal,
2. Photograph for eMedical portal,
3. Height, Weight, Blood pressure and Doctor consulation,
4. Billing
5. X Ray and Lab tests. (Blood, Urine)

These were the documents that they checked.

1. Passport at every stage
2. ITA for eMedical profile creation,
3. Passport Photocopy when doctor does the checkup.
4. Passport Photocopy when lab tests are done.

Doctor didn't ask me if I was vaccinated, but the nurse did, and she advised me to get vaccinated at the Sadhu Vaswani, they have covisheild and accept walkins.

What did you select as the category: EDE or Non-EDE? I'm a PNP-FSW candidate.

I think it should suffice. I'll do the same as well as it doesn't makes sense to get the same reference letter again from your organization.

Am also submitting the very same reference letters which I did for OINP. But with the latest payslips (3 months).

Guys, I got my EE ITA from yesterday's draw...

Next Steps:
-Will be visiting PSK tomorrow to initiate process for my India PCC & already initiated process to get my USA PCC
-Now that I have EE ITA, i think i can initiate my Medicals as well
-Work related: all OINP docs should suffice but need to add latest payslips for current employment (no changes since OINP)
-Need updated/latest POF docs since OINP
-Need Schedule 4 Form/OINP Approval Letter/OINP Nomination Letter etc.
-Rest of docs can remain as is at the time of OINP im guessing

-Other than these documentation activities there would be tasks for filling out forms such as Address History/Travel History etc. in the profile

Please let me know if I'm missing out on any kind of documents or time sensitive activities.

Many congratulations, techviz! At what time did you receive the ITA? I should have ideally received it too, but I made the cardinal error of making a last-minute change in the settlement funds section. I'm now wondering if that's the reason for the delay or lack of ITA.

I got an email at around 1:30 am IST.
I don't think updating the settlement funds amount in your profile should affect you receiving the ITA...
I see that you got your OINP Nomination just yest., Jul 7th, and EE draw also happened yest...

Yes, but I received the nomination much before the ITA draw was announced. And my score now stands at 1012. Ideally, it should have come... I guess I will have to wait for the draw that takes place in August because the next draw will be a CEC one.

I'm yet to update it on my EE profile...
There is a "Family" section, i guess under Personal Details.
It 'll ask for the number of people accompanying you and accordingly the fund amount that you'd be taking to Canada.

I was trying to do it a few min back, but the portal would not let me login... looks like i have to try again after a while.

Hi guys,

I am in a bit of a confusion about PCC here... I applied for PCC in Delhi (Rohini) at PSK... next day I visited the police station I had mentioned in the application. unfortunately they had no clue about any PCC stuff.

So, does the police actually visit home to do the verification?.. just like when we apply for passport...?..

So, I am filling it like this;

Please provide the name of the company, employer, school, or facility as appropriate. (required) > Home


For the duration before admitting into the University, I am adding it like this;

Please describe what this person was doing during this period (e.g. job title, position, etc.) (required)> Studying - Preparation for the aptitude test
Please provide the name of the company, employer, school, or facility as appropriate. (required) > Students Corner and Home.

Kindly advise.

If you were not working or studying full time, I think you just need to put unemployed.
